SU Eastern Blooms (Black Magic Technique)

This card we made at the Retirement Party for discontinued items from Stampin' UP. The technique used for this card is called Black Magic. It is fun technique to use. You need a solid stamp, stamp in on black or dark card stock with the Craft Whisper White stamp pad. Then use the heat tool to set the ink. You will need the watercolor pencils and you need 2 colors of each color to us (light and medium or dark). You need to have a contrast in the colors in the watercolor pencils. I colored in the center of the flowers and the for the contrast used the darker color in the outside and a little to pull/blend the colors of the lighter color. I colored one side the stem in one green and the other side in a darker green. Then for the smallest flowers I used the white gel pen to put white dots in the center of the flower dots on the largest flowers and the swirls. The largest flowers have pearls in the center.

Here is the recipe:
Eastern Blooms stamp set (discontinued stamp set)
Basic Black and Marina Mist card stock
Craft Whisper White stamp pad
Polka Dot emboss folder
Scallop Trim Border Punch
Marina Mist 1/8" taffeta ribbon
Basic Pearls Jewels
Heat Tool
Watercolor Pencils
Uni-ball Signo Gel Pen

Thank you for visiting today. God Bless.
