Chalkboard Technique - Happy Birthday with gift card holder

This is a fun card that I created using what is called the "chalkboard" technique.  This technique is on the birthday card on the lower picture.  To get this chalkboard effect, you stamp with white ink and white embossing powder on the black card stock.  Then you emboss it with the heat tool.  Then you use the white pencil to write on the black card stock.  This gives the chalkboard effect.  I also made a cute gift card holder for this birthday card.

Here is the recipe:

Tempting Turquoise, Pumpkin Pie, Basic Black, Whisper White, Chocolate Chip and Regal Rose card stock
Twitterpated designer paper (gift card holder)
Bring on the Cake (pg 142)and Create a Cupcake (pg 49) stamp sets
Whisper White craft and Tempting Turquoise ink
White emboss powder
Heat tool
Cupcake Builder and Large oval punch

Sure hope that you enjoyed your visit today.  God Bless.
