Joyful Christmas Card

This is the card the we made at our Quarterly Demonstrator  Stamp Meeting this month.  I really like this stamp set as you will see in the next few weeks.  I have it and have made quite a few samples with it. We made a couple of cards with this stamp set at our Christmas Card Class last month.  For this card we painted the color of poinsettia on the back of a window sheet with crystal effects and a few drops of the ink refill.  Then we put glitter on it and let it dry.  Then you can cut out the poinsettia. It really has a glitter look to it in person.  This was a fun technique to learn.

Here is the recipe:
Joyful Christmas (#131805 C)  and Many More Messages (#126402 C) stamp sets
Whisper White and Basic Black card stock
Window Sheets (#114323)
Jet Black StazOn Stamp Pad (#101406)
Cherry Cobbler refill (#119788) and Daffodil Delight refill (#119672)
Crystal Effects (#101055)
Dazzling Diamonds Glitter (#102023)

We put the crystal effects on a plastic lid and then added the refill drops and mixed it up.  Then you can paint on the back side of the window sheet with a paint brush or aqua painter (#103954).  Do not have any water in your aqua painter if you use to paint in the color on the poinsettia. Paint the center of the flowers first, then the leaves.  After you are done painting, then put the glitter on it and let it dry (about 20-30 minutes), then you can cut out the flower.

Thank you for visiting today.  Have a blessed day.
