Tag Punch Side Card and Candy Holder

Happy Monday Morning.  This past weekend the weather here in Southern California was beautiful.  We had some wind and going down the hill into Riverside Sunday, the sky was so blue.  I did work on some stamp projects this weekend.  I needed some thank you notes and realized I did not have that many in my box of cards.  So this week I will need to make some thank you cards.  I created this thank you card for a co-worker who has been substituting in our office and today is her last day.  So I have seen these  tag punch on sides of cards, so I looked on line to see how to do it.  It is very easy.  You just need to pull the card stock up over the slider they have on the punch.  I also made a candy holder but I put tea bags inside instead of candy.  She likes to have tea.  Usually you do not see whats inside, but the tea bags are wider and larger then candy.  I think it is a great little gift idea.

Here is the recipe:
Petite Petals (#133155 clear), Your Lovely (Sale-a-bration set) and Express Yourself (Hostess set #130399) stamp sets
Real Red and Whisper White card stock
Fresh Prints Designer Series Paper Stack (#132996)
Petite Petals (#133322) and Scallop Tag Topper Punch (#133324)
Deco Labels Collection framelits (#130102)
Whisper White 1/4" stitched grosgrain ribbon (#126877)
Rhinestone Basic Jewels (#119246)

Please leave a comment and let me know what you think of the thank you card and candy holder.

  1. Hi Rhonda,
I love this combination card and tea bag gift, not just because it's red and white which is my favourite combination but because my downline group just had a weekend away doing projects and one of them was this card! I am always amazed at the different ways one product can be used. Thanks for sharing your work, it is lovely to look at.
